ST. SAVIOUR'S CATHEDRAL :

St.-Salvatorskathedraal: Bruges' oldest parish church (12th-15th century). Worth seeing are the gobelins, mausoleums in the choir, rood-loft with organ (1619-1717), choir stalls and numerous fine paintings.

Cathedral ’s treasury: Paintings by, among others, Dirk Bouts, Hugo van der Goes, manuscripts, copper memorial plaques and silver and gold artefacts.

Church services: Saturday: 4 p.m. / Sunday: 10.30 a.m.
